The PoolCraft team was commissioned to completely refurbish an indoor pool at a private residence in Weybridge. The project involved removing the original pool floor, applying a new screed base, and installing Spanish Crocus Green mosaic tiles to enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of the pool.

Key Challenges:

• Demolition & Floor Removal: The original floor tiles and concrete base had to be carefully removed, as shown in the second image. This required precision to avoid any damage to the pool’s structure.
• Screeding: Laying a perfectly even screed over the pool base was critical to ensure a smooth foundation for the new mosaic tile installation.
• Indoor Environment: Working within the confined space of an indoor pool area required careful logistical planning to avoid disrupting the rest of the property during the refurbishment.

Innovative Solutions and Materials:

• Spanish Crocus Green Mosaic Tiles: To give the pool a fresh, contemporary look, we selected beautiful Spanish Crocus Green mosaic tiles. These tiles were meticulously installed to create a sleek, modern finish while providing durability and easy maintenance.
• Screed Application: A precision-laid screed ensured the pool base was smooth and even, providing the ideal surface for the mosaic tiles. The third image showcases this vital stage of the refurbishment, where the pool floor was flawlessly prepared for tiling.
• Restoration of Pool Surroundings: In addition to the pool floor refurbishment, the surrounding edges were upgraded to align with the property’s elegant interior, creating a cohesive and luxurious feel.
