The PoolCraft Ltd team was commissioned to design a bespoke pool and surroundings that harmonised with the house’s rustic architecture, creating a natural flow between the pool area and the property. The design incorporated materials and elements carefully selected to blend seamlessly with the existing structure, ensuring a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing result.

Key Challenges:

• Island Location: The house was situated on an island surrounded by water, necessitating the use of several pumps around the pool during construction to keep the water at bay.
• Narrow Access: Restricted access to the property required strategic planning by our expert team to transport materials without disrupting the surrounding environment.

Innovative Features and Materials:

• Mosaic Patterned Liner: A liner featuring a mosaic pattern was used to enhance the pool’s visual appeal.
• Egyptian Natural Stone Paving: The pool’s paving was crafted from Egyptian natural stone, complemented by floating driftwood grout, adding to the rustic charm.
• Old London Stock Brick: Our design team decided to use Old London Stock Brick for the retaining walls, creating a seamless flow with the sandstone windows of the house.
