PoolCraft Ltd faced a unique challenge with a client who wanted a swimming pool that blended perfectly with the surrounding natural environment and the style of their home. The client wanted to compliment the current materials of sandstone and brick already surrounding the house.

Their primary requirements were:

• A natural look to blend seamlessly with the surrounding nature.
• Mosaic tiles and patio colours complementing the sandstone and brick of the house.
• A focus on green and natural materials and finishes.

Key Challenges:

• Narrow access and slim alleys: This required strategic planning from our design team and innovative solutions, especially for positioning the plant room. PoolCraft skilfully navigated these constraints, ensuring smooth progress of the build.
• Discovery of a large bunker: this required the diversion of sewage and rainwater pipes. PoolCraft handled this complex task efficiently, demonstrating their expertise and problem-solving capabilities.

Innovative Features and Materials:

• Aquamatic hydraulic pool cover: A top of the range cover, this was ingeniously concealed in a wet pit at the end of the pool. It offered ultimate safety for children and pets, a crucial consideration for the client. Additionally, the cover provided a range of fabric colours, allowing further personalisation to the client’s taste.
• Air source heat pump: This eco-friendly solution ensures comfortable swimming temperatures throughout the year while also being energy-efficient.
• Multi-shade Crocus green mosaics: This blended perfectly with the natural surroundings.
• Egyptian Limestone surround: This was chosen to enhance the pool’s organic feel and provided a subtle, elegant contrast with the green mosaic.
• Elegant Chrome Fixtures and Fittings: Finishing the pool’s interior with these added a touch of modern elegance to the naturalistic design. This choice not only elevated the aesthetic appeal but also ensured longevity and ease of maintenance.
